Community Development
Poverty alleviation through income generation activities and social mobilization
Our organization work towards poverty alleviation by implementing income generation activities that provide sustainable livelihoods to the impoverished communities. These activities include microfinance, vocational training, entrepreneurship development, and agriculture and livestock development. By providing these opportunities, our organization aim to empower individuals to become self-sufficient and break the cycle of poverty. We work towards creating awareness in the community about the issues of poverty, its causes, and the ways to combat it. These efforts are often done through community participation and involvement in decision-making processes. Through social mobilization, our aim to create a sense of ownership and responsibility among the community members towards their own development. We are playing a vital role in poverty alleviation by providing income generation opportunities and mobilizing communities for sustainable development. We have been developed expertise in promoting the social, political and economic participation of rural women through community-based income generation activities. We have been providing support on their various social needs and strengthen their saving activities, besides creating awareness among them on various issues through their regular meetings. While educating women about their rights, they also encouraged them to become self-reliant economically by providing them training on different vocational skills so that they can earn their livelihood by generating income from their skills.
We have successfully completed many projects related to poverty alleviation, due to which more than 5000 people living below the poverty line have been helped to become financially. With the support of the Government of Nepal, the poverty alleviation fund program was conducted for 5 years. Under this project 40 community organizations were formed and mobilized. Under which he also supported the infra to support the income generation activities of the members of the community organization. We also have been aware to women of the community for their rights, and then they are able to speak in front of others and have their own issues. For the respectful participation of women, various types of capacity development training were conducted. As women have become aware of their rights. They have become accountable for their duties.
