Celebrated International Women's Day
The Security and Justice Program (SJP) team celebrated International Women’s Day across Bara, Sarlahi, and Dhanusha districts of Madhesh Province by organizing a series of impactful awareness-raising activities. These included street dramas, rallies, community dialogues, quizzes and speech competitions in schools, and video screenings on GBV and related issues. The events engaged diverse groups—students, teachers, community members, and local stakeholders—fostering awareness on gender equality, women’s rights, and the prevention of gender-based violence. The celebration promoted collective action toward creating a safer, more just society for women and girls.
